According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an attempt has been made to raise ‘hype’ against China in order to raise pressure against it. Moreover, the Pentagon claims are being investigated by the Chinese government. In response to the Pentagon’s claims, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said that the Pentagon is making unnecessary noise about the matter. He has also warned against such propaganda against China. China does not intend to violate international law, as a spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded us. However, he did not answer the question of whether the balloon was manufactured in China. He clarified that this matter was being investigated.
